Call it love or
call me crazy
either way I
hope you'll have me

So I'll stand here on Main Street
and look for your eyes
with my hands in my pockets
and the wind in my hair

If our love is a chess game
with black and white pieces
and your black knights are
challenging mine

But we're could-have-been should-have-been
meant-to-be together
and all of our habits are
staving our plans

I'm standing here on
the corner of Main Street
just waiting for fate to
make its move

Still my heart avers that
you are the one
but I tend run away with
the dreams in my head

So I'll stand here on Main Street
and look for your silhouette
with my heart in my pocket
and my head in my hands

I'm standing on the corner
of heartbreak and Main Street
just waiting for fate to
make a move
