The petitions whirled around at the poll booth: "Bring back the Buzz Hive", "We want the Buzz Hive back", and these thoughts even overtook some people's City Records with things such as, "I want the Buzz Hive back, it's where I made some of my best friends!" Well the Buzz Hive is back, but what for?
I came onto Whyville one day . . . and "Oh Em Gee! The Buzz Hive was back! Woah, wasn't expecting that one! But what's this? Only open to Olbies . . . well that's a nice refreshing change for once . . . no offense to the Newbies of course." This is what I thought immediately.
I clicked on the Buzz Hive expecting it to be full of all the people who wanted it back so badly. I go in, every single room was EMPTY! I first thought that something must be wrong with my computer because surely this couldn't be right, but unfortunately it was.
We all wanted the Buzz Hive back so badly, now it's back and no one cares.
Is the Buzz Hive a waste of space? Should it be taken away from all of us non-deserving Whyvillians? I don't know, but I think we are taking it for granted.
Maybe the Buzz Hive should be opened up for Newbies too, maybe they will appreciate it more than us Oldbies.
The Buzz Hive is a wonderful unique place, like all the places in Whyville, and I don't want it to be long forgotten like the Playground, Sportplatz, Cafeteria, Pool Party, and the Ice Pond to name a few.
Beach South, The Sun Roof, The Woods . . . these are the three most popular destinations where every one is . . . but why don't we make every destination a popular one?
I think we should.
