Eyes are one of the most important face parts. They can make you look happy, sad, excited, bored . . . the list goes on and on. Different eyes give off a certain look; they can show how you feel, and they can show your personality. This is also true for real life, eyes show how a person feels. They express things from sympathy, to anger through their eyes. Eyes can even show things a person hasn't said. It's true, eyes have it!

There are different reasons why someone might buy a certain pair of eyes. Some people like to buy eyes that match their eyes in real life. I've done this before, because my eyes are blue in real life and I like blue eyes.

There are also people who like to buy eyes that are a different color than their own, just to see what it's like. The vibe a pair of eyes can give off depends on the shape, eye makeup, and color. For example, eyes with long eyelashes will give off a dramatic look, brown eyes give off an earthy look, light blue eyes give off an innocent look, and normal blue eyes give off a friendly look.

But not all eyes in Whyville are realistic! There are purple eyes, rainbow eyes, anime eyes, even black eyes.

Before we get into the article, let me introduce you to a new segment in "Fun With Fashion" called "From Mspacman1's Closet". In this section, according to the theme, I will show parts that I currently own, and parts that I have owned in the past. Another new segment "Fun With Fashion" will now have is "My Retro", where I will show a couple of my past avatars that fit the theme.

Okay now it's time to show the parts!

Blue anime eyes 0naruto0
by 0naruto0 -- price: 35

Comment: These eyes are great for people who love anime. Whether you are trying to look like a certain anime character, or creating your own, these are perfect! I love the detail to it, like the light circles. I also really love the shape and color. This part is great for looks such as anime, cute, girly, spunky, and fun. These are also great if you are trying to have a "fairy" look. These eyes will make you look excited, and friendly.

Goodies
by CoCoWheat -- price: 20

Comment: I really love the use of pink in these eyes. It is vibrant yet not overpowering. Pink lovers rejoice! It's really well made, cute, fun, and unique. This part is great for looks such as girly, preppy, glamorous, fairy-ish, cute, and pink lovers of all ages. These eyes can make you look mischievous, and they're perfect for anyone who wants to perform! These eyes say, "I'm center stage!" These will definitely make you look confident.

unforgivable 'MANDA'
by smooches7 -- price: 120

Comment: I love the heavy use of eyeliner in this part; it definitely has a mysterious look. It would go great with the hair "Black Rose" by Peachadee. The shading is awesome! It's hard to find well-made eyes like these. Some are either too big, or too small. These eyes are great for looks such as gothic, punk, emo, scene, and mysterious. The heavy use of eyeliner will make you look a bit standoffish, but it also will give your avatar a "dramatic" feel.

I also went into some of the chatrooms and found these awesome eyes!

Here is Lilcheeks, with these awesome purple eyes.

by HoNeYpOp -- price: 130

Mspacman1: What is your favorite part about these eyes?
Lilcheeks: These are slim and sleek. I think they make me look Asian. Not to be racist or anything.
Mspacman1: Do you think they were a good price?
Lilcheeks: They cost me 180 clams. I bought them off of someone because they are sold out.
Mspacman1: What kind of people would you recommend this part to?
Lilcheeks: Any girl.
Mspacman1: Who is your favorite designer?
Lilcheeks: My favorite designer would have to be CoCoWheat.

This part seems to be very popular with Whyvillians, I noticed that a lot of people were wearing these eyes at the Beach Waterfall.

But awesome eyes don't stop here, there are millions of "eye candy" out there!

From Mspacman1's Closet:

Here I will show some eyes that I either own, or have owned in the past.

BLACK VELVET
by Breatira -- price: 15

Why I bought it: My eyes had expired and the designer hadn't restocked them yet, so I was desperately looking for some good eyes, and I came across these. I loved the size, shape, and color. Plus when I put them on, I didn't have to redo my face to put them under my hair, the eyelashes blended right in! This part will go great with any gothic style, and will give off the impression that you are mysterious.

Violet My Dear
by Malinn -- price: 30

Why I bought it: I was looking for preferably blue eyes, but I kept finding ones that were either too big, or too small. Even when they looked okay when I tried them on, when I bought them and put them on, they ended up looking weird. Then I found these eyes, I think they are one of the best blue eyes I have ever seen. These eyes would work with pretty much anything, from preppy, to sporty, to punk. These eyes give off the impression that you love life, and that you're very friendly.

How I looked June 2nd, 2007:

Comment: Apparently I was trying to go for the "Princess" look I think I went a little crazy with the glitter.
About the eyes: These "eyes" are actually contacts, but at the time I thought they were eyes. They seemed awesome at the time. In fact everything on this avatar seemed awesome.
Fun Fact: I was a Newbie back then, so I didn't have many clams, so you can pretty much guess what was going through my mind when I bought these parts. When I had this avatar, I was called "ugly" a lot, and not many people talked to me, but that didn't stop me from expressing myself! Would I still wear these parts: Only the dress, earrings, and lips.

How I looked June 19, 2007:

Comment: I am decked out in my TobyMac accessories!
About the eyes: What's interesting about these eyes is that they are actually two separate face parts, which was common at that time. It was really hard to align them perfectly. Because they didn't really have eyelashes that "stuck out", they looked kind of odd without eyebrows. More people talked to me at this point, then when I had my first avatar. I even got second place in some Beauty Contests.
Fun Fact: At this time, I actually only bought parts that my friend recommended. The parts I bought that she had suggested were the hair, the shirt, and maybe the eyes.
Would I still wear these parts: I still like them all except for the eyes, they were too much of a hassle, plus I have some eyes that I'll be sticking to for awhile.

Well that's all for this issue of "Fun With Fashion". Thanks to everyone who has helped me improve, and encouraged me! I'd especially like to thank the Times Editor, for all of her advice. I'm really excited about this series, and I hope it continues for a long time.

The next theme will be: Food Feast

You don't wanna miss it!
