Even with the darkest sky.
Dark grey, almost a fading black.
When all the colors have seemed to die.
My memories will always glance back.

To the days when the suns rays warmed
my summer-soaked face.
When children played all thrilled and gay,
back to that wonderful place.

When it was you and me, hand in hand,
our smiles filled with delight.
The waves lapping, side by side in the sand.
Watching an august day die to an autumn night.

These are the memories that I'll be sure to remember,
even if they haven't yet come true.
From a frost-bitten January, to a snow-covered December.
My heart will always be with you.
