The night is still
But if you look closer you can see life
In the leaves,
Tiny bugs living their lives
Unaware.

Despite all of this teeming life
At my feet,
All I can think of is your face
You're bad news.

When I get heart burn,
Is that you thinking of me?
I run over the mistakes I've made
In my head,
And all of them involve you.

There's a pretty young thing,
In front of you
And I don't blame you
For choosing her instead of me.

I was unaware,
Unaware of the regrets
I now own.

But now.
I'm the ant pile,
That just got stepped on.
