An Ode to the Workers of Whyville

Giggler01
Whyville Poet

This is an ode to the workers of our city,
The ones who do all the hard work in Whyville.
They make it all happen;
Kiki-iki-riki, Leila, Bob and Bigfoot Bill.

And ode to the one who has helped us all,
To the hard of hearing Grandma Gurtrude,
Who is kind and giving,
And who will put you in your place if you are rude.

This is for the writers and poets,
To the workers of the Whyville Times,
Who let us know about everything,
Jokes, real life, and Whyville crimes.

This is written for City Hall,
The one who runs this whole place,
Who makes it all happen,
With honesty, justice and grace.

Ode to the Taxi Driver,
Who will get us there,
He always says hello,
And charges a small fare.

And thanks to a man named Akbar,
Who makes the Whyville Mall,
Helping us decide what to wear,
Whether we are big or small!

And an ode to all the workers,
The ones mentioned here and all the rest,
You do a great job,
And Whyville is truly the very best!
