Wii Music has been out for a while but my sister and I just recently went out to buy it. Wii Music is yet another game in the "Wii Series" which includes Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Play, etc. I love YouTube so before I bought the game I went on and searched "Wii Music Review" I watched about eight reviews and guess what -- about six out of eight of them said the game sucks or is terrible. I had tried out the game at my friends house before and liked it. I was pleased to have watched two that gave good reviews. That's what I'm about to do. Yes that's right, I'm going to give Wii Music a GOOD review. Wii Music has been slammed and dissed so many times that I feel nobody is going to even give it a chance. If you get into it, it can be quite fun.

Jam Sessions: Jam sessions are the main part of the game. You can do a quick jam, which selects a random song, stage and instrument for you to play or you can do a custom jam, which allows you to pick your own song, instrument and stage. You get to play each part (Melody, Harmony, Chord, Bass and Percussion x2) and then each one saves so when you put it all together all the parts you've played are heard. You then rate your own performance on a scale from 0-100. Then you drag your Miis and choose a background and frame and make a CD cover. Then you watch your music video and it is simply saved into your music video library.

Music Video Library: This is simply where you can watch all your old music videos. You can delete them here as well and also, you can send your videos to your friends who have the game through Wifi connection.

Music Lesson Mode: This mode I personally hate. It's where the host of the game, Sebastian Tute, teaches you how to play each part "well". He does this with the help of his little friends the "Tutes" which I will explain more later. He also teaches you about the Be-Bops, which let you know how hard or soft to play and also the timing. You have to do this mode if you want to unlock more instruments and songs.

Game Mode: This mode includes three different mini games to play. There is Mii Maestro in which you use your Wii remote and nun chuck to conduct an orchestra, also there is Hand bell Harmony, which you use to play hand bells. You must play your color hand bell at the right time. And finally there is pitch perfect which has 10 levels and asks you a series of questions about pitch and the like. Some of these games are pretty fun.

That basically sums up all the modes in the game, now let's talk perks and disadvantage.

The Perks:

- Wide Range Of Songs: There is 50+ songs to play, including classics like "Happy Birthday" and "Twinkle Twinke Little Star" to folk songs like "Turkey in the Straw" to 80's music like "Material Girl" and "Wake me up Before you Go Go" to Nintendo songs like "The Legend of Zelda" and "Mario Bros Theme".

- Many Instruments: There is 60+ instruments which are all fun to play. They have 4 types: Piano/Drum, Guitar, Trumpet (and the like) and Violin. Each group is played a certain way. They have basics like piano to more unknown stuff like the sitar to just weird stuff like dog and cat suits.

- The Games: These are really fun to play and are different than most games, you can even learn something in Pitch Perfect.

-Miis: Instead of having to use some weird character you hate, you can use any Mii that you want.

The Disadvantages:

- Sebastian Tute: Okay I do not like this guy. He's old like some Einstein meets Mozart guy and he looks like a Muppet and his voice is annoying and he never shuts up.

- The Tutes: These are Sebastian little buddies, the look like human Muppets and are extremely ugly.

- The dorky outfits: Your Mii must wear a dorky conductor outfit for majority of the game (eww).

Overall I'd give this game:

Four Music notes out of five
