Author's Note: If you guys like it I will write more, but I don't want to write a series no one likes. If you like it I promise to write more. I'm not sure how long this will be, though.

Hannah's Point of View (P.O.V.)

There I sat. I was alone in my room. My only company was my tattered stuffed bunny, Bugby. His nose was losing its fabric and his smile was falling off. The music was on full blast as I sat there with tears streaming down my face.

I opened my window, without making a sound, not that it would be heard over my music. I climbed out my window, and sat on the roof. I stared up at the star-scattered night sky. The crickets hummed to my stereo playing Katy Perry's song, "Hot N Cold".

"I just don't get what happened. Why me?"

"Hannah, you know you can't always blame yourself. Sometimes things happen for reason, even if you don't like it. I'm sure you had nothing to do with it."

I turned around to Kyle climbing up the tree next to my roof. He pushed himself up onto the roof, using all of his muscles. Scratch that. Using all of his untoned muscles. I'm so nice. He sat next to me, looking into my eyes. He gently wiped away my tears, which turned black from my running eyeliner.

"You don't need this to look beautiful, Hannah," he whispered as he wiped the black tears on the roof. He gazed back at me with his turquoise eyes. They glistened against the moonlight.

"I don't need a lot of things to look pretty, but I need a lot of things to convince myself I'm pretty," I said mysteriously leaning my head against his shoulder.

"Hm. Say, 'Hello' to your new set of makeup."

"Kyle . . .? Are you okay?"

"Yea. I'm fine. Forget that."

"Forget what?" I say smiling from ear to ear.

"Nothing, Hannah. Are you feeling okay? You must be hearing things . . ."

"Oh, I must have forgotten to tell you. Bad Hannah. I have a Sixth Sense."

"Hannah McKline. You have a Sixth Sense?" He gaped at me.

"Definitely." I giggled

For the first time in days, something felt right. I left my troubles, behind.

Kyle's P.O.V.

Pictures danced through Hannah's eyes. The times we smiled, and laughed all day long. The times we wept for weeks. It seemed like just yesterday, that she moved here. It seemed like just yesterday, we talked for an endless amount of hours.

"Hannah . . . well there's this party tomorrow night . . . and well I can bring someone . . .do you want to go?"

"Together?"

"Friends . . . or together . . ."

"I'd really like to go as friends." She paused looking at me. She was biting her lip, like she does when she is holding back tears. "Kyle, I really like you, but it just seems too soon." She paused again leaning her head against my shoulder. "And it just happened. I'm not sure I can trust love for a while. I might never trust it again." She started to sob, and I held her hand . . . not sure of what to do. How do you comfort someone, who might never trust your love?

She looked back up at me with her glassy eyes, "I trust you Kyle. It's just that I don't trust my heart." She exhaled slowly, her breath as warm as a warm summer day.

I looked up at the stars, each glittering brightly. "Look, up at the stars. They're beautiful, just like you. If they are shining, it means everything will be okay."

"Yea . . ."

"Now come on Hannah. It's getting late and you need to sleep. I pick you up at 8PM tomorrow. We'll be swimming, so bring your swimsuit."

"Thanks." She smiled lightly and climbed back into the window, and shut it with ease. Before she shut the shade she waved goodnight.

"Goodnight." I whispered softly under my breath knowing she couldn't hear. Once I couldn't hear her music anymore, and I climbed back onto the tree. "Until tomorrow . . ."
