Pressure Both Ways

Hello, fellow Whyvillians.

I would like to report on individuality... although this is a little different from the articles already published.

Okay, so let's say that you are trying to be individual. You put on a bright pink hat with flowers, rainbow contacts, and green hair. You go out to the Pool Party, and everyone makes fun of you and says you look like a clown.

Well... here is the catch: maybe you DON'T like that look, even though one or two people compliment you on how original you are. So you go back to pick your nose, put on a ponytail and a round nose. Arggg... you don't like that look either. So... you put on blonde hair. OH, how eye-catching! How beautiful!! Ahhh and those blue eyes and glossy lips! Finally, you feel comfortable about how you look.

The point I am trying to show is that even if you are pressured by the Times to put on pink hair, you don't HAVE to. Remember, your face reflects YOU, and if you don't feel like unusual stuff makes you feel good, why the heck do you put it on???

If you have blonde hair and hazel eyes and if you want your face to look like you, then PUT it ON! This way, you will feel good and fit in with the crowd at the same time!

I have a friend who said that since she had brown hair, she HAD to have brown hair. I was proud of her, because that reflects how she looks, and that's what she wants, "even though" she kinda fits in with the crowd. Her name is bella3000. Check her out!

Well, that is all for now!
