The one thing that bothers me the most is when people wear things that don't match. This is a short column about what matches and what doesn't, and you guys can make requests to me about what you want in the next one! But please, post in BBS, so it's all in one place and I'm not going crazy.

What is the topic of this particular portion of this column? Skinny jeans. We're going to take a look at Do's and Don't's with skinnies, so strap yourselves in and get ready to be blown away.

DON'T'S:

Skinny jeans with puffy shoes or Nikes are a definite no-no!

The reason behind my thinking this is for the sheer fact that I hate when people tuck their pants into their shoes or boots! Skinny jeans look terrible when the bottoms look bent up and then they're tight at the top. If you like the way it looks, that's you. But me? Nope, I have to say something when I see it. Moving right along.

This backpack is perfect for teenagers -- NOT. This backpack -- and show for that matter -- were made for young children. It is seen most, from what I've noticed, on the teenagers who wear skinnies with brightly colored Nikes. This is a real no-no, seeing people wearing skinny jeans with Nikes and a backpack from a show for a younger audience drives me insane!

Extremely bright skinny jeans? Colored? They had better match!

Sadly, I don't have a picture for this section, but it applies, still! Clothing must match for fashion lovers like myself to take you seriously. If you HAVE to wear clothes in your society, wear them right! I saw a girl in bright pink skinny jeans, a blue and white shirt, blue and white shoes with a DIFFERENT shade of blue than the shirt. Her nails were painted all sorts of colors, and she was wearing blue earrings that didn't match either blue. I had to say something to her . . . so I did. Let's leave that conversation alone.

DO'S:

Wear your skinny jeans with some sort of Converse. Make sure it matches!

Wear a backpack that doesn't make you look like you have the mind of a five year old.

Match. Your. Skinny. Jeans.

Listen well, trained grasshoppers. And you shall chirp with the glory of great fashion sense.
