Some of us are the type that don't care what we look like. We're perfectly happily with wearing white after Labor Day or wearing Uggs in summer. We'll keep our hair pin straight and the same one-tone shade for as long as we want. We are our own unique person! But others, like myself, love being in style, and for our hair, it's not an option.

So, Fall is here (Hooray!) and I, myself, am ready for the NEW fall colors to fill at least half of my wardrobe. And since it's 2009 we can get rid of the clothes from last year and update to more fashionable clothing, perhaps?

Black

Dark, mysterious colors like charcoals, blacks, grays, and navy blues are a must for Fall '09. Which means throw out all of your old pumpkin oranges and red hots, and go black!

Quick Tip: To save a few bucks that you could be putting towards your college education, you can always stop by your local drugstore and pic up some 88% Powdered Dye and remake your olds to news!

Plaid, Plaid, Plaid

Plaid is in this year! Notice how it managed to stay in the dark colors category.

Quick Tip: To make a wrap as shown above, just take an old, oversized plaid shirt, cut it below the bust, and tie it.

Scarves

Okay, so this next one doesn't need a picture because it's plainly simple. Scarves are kind of a, "Duh it's fall," thing, but they can never go out of style in cold weather right? They replaced turtlenecks 20 years ago people.

Striped Tights

Marc Jacobs revealed layers and hats and scarves for the Fashion Week show. There was a repeat performance of tights on the runway. They're brighter than warmers, but thicker than just your average hose.

Quick Tip: To get it for free, you can chop off the sleeves of any long-sleeve striped shirt, pair it with a pair of tall, scrunchy black socks, and complete the ensemble with a pair of stylish yet casual boots. No Uggs please!

Large and Flowing

Large, flowing sleeves are in for Fall '09 as well as wool ponchos, even flowing hot wraps.

Fat Belts

It doesn't matter at all if it's a dress, a long shirt, or even a coat. Just cinch it with a big fat black belt and you're good to go. You don't even need loops!

Quick Tip: You can find big black belts at any department store.

Stones

Bling is great, especially on your hands or neck, but this Fall we're talking about shirt bling. Beads or stones around your collar is in this year.

Quick Tip: Take your pennies on down to the store and buy yourself some second hand costume jewelry that you can easily reuse on any shirt. Just don't over do it and stick to the collar please!

Well, my little kiddos, there's your Fall 2009 report on what's in this Fall. This is just the beginning. Next week or sometime after will, hopefully, be the article on cute fall hairstyles and some quick fixes and bounces to your plain hair.

This has been the start of a new relationship between my fellow fashion-craving readers and I.
