Annie, your smile makes my day.

Every time I hear you laugh, I want to crack up with you. I love everything about you: the faces you make, your love for Tyler, and the fact that you never stop smiling.

I could never be able to explain to you how much I admire you. You always tell me that you're self-conscious, but that's nothing compared to me. You aren't afraid of anything, and I'm too afraid to tell other people that I'm a writer. You stand out in everything that you do, and almost everyone I meet always tells me how lucky I am to have you as a cousin, and how happy you always are. Of course I already know this - why else would I call you 24/7? I wish I could spend every moment with you - I would never get sick of you . . . ever.

I want you to know how proud I am to have you as my cousin. The truth is, I used to be really jealous of you, and I'm sorry for that. You have an amazing voice, you know what you want in life, and you are always yourself, no matter what anybody else thinks. You are an inspiration to everyone you meet, and I wish I was more like you. Some day when you become famous, I'm going to walk around telling everyone that I am related to you. And I won't be jealous at all - you deserve to accomplish everything that you want to, and I know that you can.

When I moved to New York, I knew that I would get closer to you and your family. I never expected this though - I think of you as my sister, and not just because I love you and spend so much time with you. You actually are my sister. We laugh together, and we fight together as well, but I would never trade a minute of it away.

You are hilarious, beautiful, adorable, and outgoing. On top of all of this, you are also the strongest person I know. I don't care if our kids will only be second cousins - they are going to feel as close to each other as we do now, and if they don't, they will be missing out.

I just wanted to say thank you for always being there for me. There is no one in the world that can make me laugh like you can, even when I'm hurting. You are the one person who understands me, and who will never judge me. I can tell you anything, and I just want you to know that I never want you out of my life. Although you will never know how much you mean to me, I promise I will always be there for you.

Love forever,
Your cousin
