Feet dragging, lower than a ladybug
these grey halls depress me more.
I see them in their rooms, dissolving away
The color is painfully poor.

Stupid hospital, don't do this to him.

Mind dragging, slower than a snail
he can't see my hand in front of his face.
surely this isn't happening
God, I need your saving grace.

Stupid hospital, don't do this to him.

Heart dragging, simply dragging
I don't want you to take him away.
what does he have in this dreary stench?
I won't let it end this way.

Stupid hospital, don't do this to him.

We've come so far together
please don't take him from me now.
or at least let him leave this hell hole first . . .
get him out alive, somehow.
