The Waiting Game

Sprinkle1
Times Writer

Hey everyone! Sprinkle1 here to tell you all my thoughts and thinking about the Waiting Room.

First of all, I've had it WAY past my lip gloss with complaints about the WWR (A.K.A. the Whyville Waiting Room). And really, what IS there to complain about? I mean, you can read the Times, look at the map, and even buy/bid for a Why-Pass. I know that banging on the computer screen will not help you get into Whyville (trust me; I've tried it)!

Anyway, I happen to know -- with only a minor doubt -- that you are sitting in the waiting room right now as you are reading this. I think that one of the reasons Whyville put in a waiting room was so that the people who actually take the time to think about, write, and submit articles to the Times do not feel as if they are wasting their time.

I know I'm getting up on my soap-box right now but words keep tumbling out! (You know, that happens a lot to me.) Anyway, I personally think that the WWR is a pretty neato idea. Yes, it can get quite frustrating but hey, Life is a party! Remember what it used to be before the Waiting Room -- just some blank page that said "Whyville's Too Busy"... you couldn't read the Times, check the map, or buy a Why-Pass! You were just stuck!

Anyway, Whyville is NOT the whole point to our lives. So, if you see that blue screen at least 3 times a day... then you really need to get out more!

This is Sprinkle1... going... going... gone.... (but don't worry, you'll hear from me soon...)
