Pants and Socks: Similarities

So, I was walking through the mall just the other day in hopes of getting a new shirt. You know, one of those that has a cute phrase that either says "I'm with stupid ->" or "Are we in a library, because I am checking you out!", when I saw two boys walking together.

I kept staring at them and they probably thought I was checking them out since they sort of looked at me and then grinned, but I wasn't. I was staring at their pants. Yes their pants, or their socks, whichever since they were so low you could see their underwear.

Let me tell you, I was not in a good mood and their Sponge Bob underwear did not please me at all. So, as I was staring I was also thinking of going and recommending a good belt store where belts come in all shapes and sizes. Then I thought better of it because that would result in me ranting about their shirts/dresses too that drag to the floor and that would lead to embarrassment. I try to avoid it when I can, too bad I usually fail.

So anyway, I kept on staring and I noticed that their shoes sort of fell off when they walked. They both looked like their shoes were five sizes to big for both of them. I just kept on staring and sighing about how much our generation had changed over the years.

Before, people owned belts and normal looking shirts, not too big or too tight. People had shoes in the right sizes and people kept their hair like it was and didn't make it straight or curly. They were pure and natural and they didn't bathe in make-up. I turned away from the two guys and, ironic as it was, saw my dad walking out of The Bay, with a see-through bag and a belt tucked in it.

And here we go . . .

Pants on the ground
Pants on the ground
Lookin' like a fool with you pants on the ground
