Why-Pox Etiquette

As you know, there is a disease on Whyville called Why-Pox. I'm here to straighten out all the rumors.

OK, first, City Hall only picked the first couple of people to get Why-Pox, including herself. So it's not a punishment and she didn't decide who gets it after that, she let the disease run its course. And, you can still chat when you have Why-Pox. OK, now read my prevention tips:

  • Dress warmly. I spent my time wearing tubetops so, invest in a jacket, scarf and a hat.
  • Do NOT go over to your friend's Whyville house! I did that and as soon as I walked in their door I found myself sneezing!
  • Try not to change your face while you have Why-Pox, I think that's how I ended up with these terrible spots.

Why-Pox Etiquette:

  • Buy a box of tissues from Akbar's (Akbar's Hall of Fame sells the best) and when someone sneezes, please offer them a tissue.
  • Say bless you or gesundheit when somebody sneezes.
  • Try to express sympathy, but don't carry on by saying, "OMG, I feel so sorry for you!" because nobody wants that much pity.
  • Do not tease those with Why-Pox, because who knows? You might end up with them too!

I hope you have come to better understand Why-Pox. Bye!
