When you had enough
I lost more than a friend
I lost my hope
When I cried
I wished the ocean of tears
Would wash away your death

I knew you were lost
But I'm not a map
So you took the wrong turn
And left

Instead of moping around
Like you did
I tried to find my friend
But your cold tomb stone
Wouldn't listen to me
It just brought tears and agony

I knew you were lost
So I tried to give directions
But you were confused
And you took the wrong turn
All that's left is an urn

A broken heart gone very wrong
Leads to sadness and misery
But nothing compares to the hole in my heart
Where you were supposed to be

It's killing me like it did to you
But I won't do what you did last June
I'll stay strong because I know how it feels
To have a friend
That left
