Have You Caught It Yet?

Whyville Pox! Do you have it?

A lot of us Whyvillians would like to know the answers to some questions about the Pox, such as, "How do you get the Why-Pox?" "How do we prevent from getting it?" and "How long does it last?"

Well, I don't know all of the answers, but I'm here to interview Whyvillians to see what they think about the disease.

First I interviewed 69Flygurl:

Me: Have you ever had Why-Pox?
Her: Nope!
Me: What do you think about it?
Her: I think it's really messed up that all these people want it! They're like, "hehe I WANT WHY-POX!" I feel like yelling at them! The whole point of Why-Pox isn't so that you can have ugly things on your face and be one of the crowd that says "Achoo". It's to give you an idea as to what it's like to have a disease like that.
Me: Is that all you have to say on the subject?
Her: Well, unless you want me to go into my long tirade of a speech as to what I'd like to say to those annoying people who WANT Why-Pox, then yes, I am done.
Me: All right, thanks!
Her: No problemo!

Next I interviewed Hotguy66:

Me: What do you think about Why-Pox?
Him: I hate them! They bother me because I can't whisper to people and when I type somethin' they go Achoo and it erases it all!
Me: Do you have it right now?
Him: Yeah.
Me: How long have you had it so far?
Him: Like 2 or 3 days I can't remember.
Me: Ok, thanks!
Him: Mhm.

Then I interviewed daddle:

Me: Have you had Why-Pox?
Her: Mmhmm.
Me: Do you have them right now?
Her: Nope, thank heavens!
Me: How long did you have them?
Her: About 4 days... wait, 5 days.
Me: Whoa, that's long.... Was it annoying?
Her: Oh yeah, people were always questioning you about them, and your sentences went away too fast because you said, "Achoo".
Me: How'd you catch it?
Her: I don't know, I think I was just one of the first people to get it.
Me: Hmm... do you think that it was a good idea for City Hall to introduce Why-Pox?
Her: No, I think she should have warned people! Okay!
Me: Thanks!
Her: Welcome!

So all in all, people aren't overly thrilled by the idea of having Why-Pox. I'm thinking that they last for at least a few days and that the only way to prevent catching them is by staying away from people in their worst stage. And if you do catch them, my advice is think of the positive side, you get more attention from those of us who still don't understand what Why-Pox is!

As for my opinion, well, at first when I saw my buds saying "Achoo" I thought, all right, this is going to get annoying if they keep saying it. Then I understood that they had Why-Pox. I found the pox on some peoples' faces so REVOLTING! I can't believe how ugly some of them look! No offence! But I think it's a good idea for City Hall to introduce it to us.

Why-Pox is a good reminder that no world is perfect, so be grateful for your health when you have it. But I think that if they had to pick a disease, couldn't they have picked something more interesting? I think we can get creative with this! LoL, how about cold sores that have big pustering bubbles at the side of our mouths? Ear infections with ears that swell to the size of a banana? Runny noses? Pink eye? I mean, not all of us can be sick, because that ruins the fun, but I think it would be kinda neat!

Well, peace out! And remember, be thankful you aren't sick! And if you are sick, be thankful that your turn is almost over!

Over and out!
