Val and Kyles stilled stared in shock and fear, not moving. Kylie turned to Shane. "This is . . . This is it?" she gulped.

He looked at her blankly. "Yes."

Kylie turned. "Why did you bring me here?"

Shane chuckled. "You need an army. Here it is. Round them up. They're gullible. If you get to them first, if you are able to talk to them before Shay, you can get them on your side. I'll help."

Kylie nodded as she watched him rush off into the dark. "Val. Go get as many as you can and meet back in here in thirty minutes." Val ran off in the opposite direction of Shane and Kylie grabbed one of the dead's arms. "Follow me." She told it, simply. Moaning, it began to limp after her.

Grabbing arm after arm, she had nearly 20 dead people following her in ten minutes. After doing the math, she figured she could get at least forty more at this rate. She was correct. Rounding up nearly 65 people, she met her aunt and new friend to see that they too had gathered many. They had a bunch. Kylie spoke loud and clear, telling them all of her plan. She had no idea that they would be traitors.

Tired, the large caravan traveled to a small shelter, all of them squishing together. Kylie and Val stayed up for a bit talking. Attacking Shay's camp would be easier with the more dead. The next day, they would go to her camp and attack, getting rid of the enemies once and for all.

As Kylie's eyes closed for the night, she realized one problem. Eric was one of them.

A light rain sprinkled the people, and the dew on the flowers was sweet and refreshing. Shane had showed Kylie which ones to drink from and which to avoid. She laughed, a small tinkling sound. It was relaxing out here, with Shane. If he wasn't dead, Kylie would so date him.

After the group had fully awoken, they traveled on foot to Shay's base. They ravaged the area, but found no one there. Instead, their numbers dwindled.

Kylie eventually caught sight of Shay and David, running. She followed the two, before slowing down, realizing where they had taken her.

The cliff.

Shay spun around and grinned. "What a surprise." she said sarcastically. "You don't get it. Do NOT follow me." Shay snapped and David crouched, getting closer and closer to her. Whimpering, Kylie began to plead. She knew where this was going. "David, please. Don't do this. Think of what we had." David laughed .

"You think I'm going to give up her for you?! You're hilarious!" he yelled, acting genuinely humored. "Kylie, you know you're going to die, right?"

Sighing, Kylie decided to give up. "Yes." Closing her eyes, she felt his hands around her wrists, pulling them behind her back. He stood. "Bye Kylie. Shay wins."

Kylie's body flew through the air, bending like no human body should ever bend.

Finally, with a hard thud, she hit the water.

Death was refreshing. It was quiet, calm, peaceful. There were no worries, and frankly, it was a lot easier being dead than alive. She wondered why she had been so scared. She felt like she was floating. Then she suddenly began to shiver - it was freezing!

She coughed, and opened her eyes, expecting fluffy clouds and golden gates. Instead, she saw a man's face and lots of sand. "Kylie?" he yelled.

Kylie sat up again. Did she almost drown? "Who, who are you?" she asked.

"Kylie, I'm your dad. What were you doing?"

'Oh please, no. Don't make me tell my dad that I've never met before that I'm crazy.' "Um . . ." She glanced up, knowing Shay and David were probably long gone, thinking she was dead. "I fell. I'm a klutz."

He stared at her, and she could tell that he wasn't convinced. "Where's your mother?"

"I'm not currently living with her."

"Who are you staying with?"

"Aunt Val."

"Take me to her."

Kylie obliged, walking off, beckoning him to follow. "Come on."
