PANDEMIC
The sky makes a new commotion
Our sun disappearing into the ocean
Stars crowd the sky
Each one showing no recognizable motion

Makings of the galaxy, they may seem freaks
He had decided each should be unique
Not one design used for more than one creation
Yet never giving in to making one bleak

Addictive, it is, to stare at the night sky
To watch a shooting star race by
Amazing, the power of these little lights
All you can do is watch and sigh

The only light you're guaranteed to spy
Phase of the new moon leaves you dry
Nothing but the tiny specks
Hidden underneath the layer of dark sky
