PANDEMIC
Sunlight hits my pupils
They glow bright and luminescent
Bright, radiant curtains
Open to reveal the peasant

What background it has
No matter it all
For he remains
Little, crowded, fearful and small

Dark eyes reveal light
Dusty windowsills remain there without a doubt
And so I let go
I let go of you like a dead trout

Circulating the skies, you linger
You soar and soar, higher and higher
The background changes
Hades is what I see, you smell like burning rubber; a nylon tire

So soar and soar and I'll sigh
And cheat and cheat and I'll frown
And I'll keep on moving
And I'll find someone who doesn't change the background
