PANDEMIC
Just like a raindrop
Her tears fall to the floor
If only she could jump
And splash and sing
In the puddle
But as far as hope and joy goes
There is no more

She sits alone in the dark

And her tears crash to the ground
What if she could push away the clouds
And reveal the sun and smiles
What if the tears would go away
And she could bounce in the puddle
And make a splash
What if her heart weren't shattered inside
What if she could force a true smile
And we could see her eyes light up
Even if it was just for a little while
