Do You Know When You're Discriminating?

Hey, this is ilovebrad. Today I saw something that really bothered me. I was hanging in the playground, doing the usual chatting and trying to make friends. Then these two boys said they were gay and people made fun of them, saying it wasn't right, that it wasn't normal.

That really bothered me. So these other people and I tried to explain to everyone that they were not weird or anything. Yet people still were saying it wasn't right. I'm not gay, but I believe everyone was created equal. THEN people were saying gay love isn't real love! I asked why not and said they were like any couple, that they love each other and care for each other.

I didn't think people were like that on Whyville. It was even worse that that day (March 21st) was National Anti-Racism Day. What was happening wasn't exactly racism, but in a way it was. It was certainly discrimination.

I remember watching a TV programme a few weeks ago, it was about a boy who was beaten to death because he was gay. That bothers me sooo much, that people can be so mean. AND IT WAS BASED ON A TRUE STORY.

So all you Whyvillians, please realize that discrimination isn't cool and if you do it people are NOT going to like it.
