I am seeing friendship bracelets becoming more and more popular; it's almost becoming a trend. I started wondering why simple knotted string can have people talking.
A friendship bracelet is made of embroidery floss, or more commonly called string, and can be knotted in certain ways to create all sorts of bracelets from heart ones, to ones with your name on it. The term friendship bracelet came related to these string bracelets because often good friends would make identical bracelets for each other to wear. So why are they so popular?
I went to my local craft store to pick up some embroidery floss. Not only did they come in a variety of fun colors but they were cheap! I looked up some ways to make these string bracelets and started creating them. Automatically I started thinking why this would be popular! They were cheap, fun to make, make great presents for friends, and best of all, are super cute.
You'll be surprised at how fast you will catch on. Within the first week of making friendship bracelets, I was making ones considered advance. It amazing how fun it is. Go ahead, try it!
