Once I was a little girl
There were so many words to describe me
Sweet, innocent, beautiful, pure
Unaware of the world

But I've grown up now
There's only one word you could say I am
Changed

Sweetness replaced with bitterness
The world was never kind
Innocence replaced with knowledge
But knowledge is not always good
Beauty replaced by tragedy
Disaster is harsh
Purity replaced with experience
Life is not always nice

The me I am now
Wants to go back and rescue that girl from her future
But I don't know how
I can't fix things now

I'll simply rebuild my life
Maybe someday I can make myself like that little girl
I just have to try
And I'll try with all my might

I don't want to be changed
