I asked AliChic, CASH4REAL, shae1290, and mscutie8 a few questions about their petitions at City Hall.

Doodle971: I read that you had a petition in at City Hall. What is it about and how is it important?
AliChic: My petition is about the Style Studio and the change I think it needs. It's important because it would improve the Style Studio a lot.
Doodle971: Your petition states that there should be a button to get rid of all the face parts instead of dragging them off. Do you think that this would be a big change for people?
AliChic: Yeah, especially for the stylists it would make it a lot easier to style instead of taking one part off at a time.
Doodle971: I have also spent a fair amount of time at the Style Studio. This is a great idea but do you think that it was cause problems for people who want to just take off one to five things if Whyville were to have just the button to get rid of everything?
AliChic: Well you wouldn't have to push the button if you just want to take one thing off.
Doodle971: I see. I know lots of people have ideas for the Style Studio. Is this the one that you think is most important to you? The one that would change the Style Studio the most? Do you have any other ideas about the Style Studio?
AliChic: I think it's the most important. There are a couple other good ideas out there too.
Doodle971: I agree. I think that you have an excellent idea.

Doodle971: I happened to be looking at petitions at City Hall and I saw yours. How did this idea come to mind?
CASH4REAL: Well, I was in chat rooms and was offended at the terrible behavior that I saw. I think this petition will help Whyvillians be kinder to one another.
Doodle971: So you think that people will pay more attention to how kind they are if they could win an award? Does anything come with this award? A prize maybe?
CASH4REAL: I think that if you win an award, people will start acting kinder towards each other. If you win an award it makes you feel great! I think that if you win you could get a small clam amount for a prize, or maybe a small face part that says "Kind Citizen" on it!
Doodle971: I would definitely try to go for that, winning an award and all but I know, no matter what, people will still be mean. Do you think that it will bother you?
CASH4REAL: I am positive that people will be mean. This saddens me, because it feels crummy when someone is being a jerk to you. I think this award will help people become nicer, but I believe there will still be some cruel people.
Doodle971: I think that is true. Well good luck with your petition! Do you have anything that you would like to say to fellow Whyvillians?
CASH4REAL: Try to be nice to everyone! Doodle971: There you have it. Don't forget to vote for CASH4REAL's petition. Someday, that could be you winning that award!

Doodle971: So your petition talks about having a daily lottery. Did you just think that it would be a fun and exciting idea to have a lottery like in real life?
shae1290: Well, I thought it would be exciting to have a daily event, which people could talk about, and would be very simple. At last, this idea came to my mind.
Doodle971: Could you go into a little more detail about your petition? What kinds of prizes are you suggesting?
shae1290: I'm thinking that we could have the regular old clam prize that was mentioned in my petition, Face Parts that people can donate, or a one of a kind face part that a City Worker could make, too.
Doodle971: Those would be nice prizes. Do you think maybe once a month we could have a rare face part, a pearl, or FFV prize?
shae1290: Sure, if City Hall would agree, we could probably have 100 pearl prizes, rare face parts, and a FFV or two.
Doodle971: I know lots of people have petitions to stop pearls. How do you feel about pearls?
shae1290: Well, they don't mind me very much. Maybe if we could have pearl prizes, people would want to win and would stop going against them!
Doodle971: That would certainly make a change! Do you have anything to say to fellow Whyvillians?
shae1290: Well, I would like to have them sign my petition.
Doodle971: I couldn't have said it better! Remember, take shae1290's advice and vote for his petition!

Doodle971: Your petition states "Laying Items Away." How did you come up with this? I know that they have commercials on TV for things like this.
mscutie8: I thought of the petition Law Away when my friend was spending the night. We were both at Akbar's and she had found tons of items she really liked. We figured out she didn't have enough money, so we went to go earn money. When we went back to Akbar's about 30 minutes later most of the things she liked were not in stock anymore. She said, "I wish they had a thing where you could hold parts for a little while.
Doodle971: I had the same problem the other night. Do you think that maybe having so many face parts in "lay away" would be an issue for Whyville?
mscutie8: There could be problems but I think there should be a limited number in lay away. Like you can only have around 5 items in the lay away section of Akbar's.
Doodle971: So, is this idea kind of based off the commercials on TV too?
mscutie8: No, this idea had nothing to do with commercials on TV.
Doodle971: I understand. Do you have anything you would like to say to fellow Whyvillians?
mscutie8: Oh please vote for my petition.
Doodle971: Good thinking! Take mscutie8's thought and vote for her petition!

Like these ideas? Then head down to City Hall and sign it!
