War

I'm sick of fighting,
tired of hate.
I can't stand
this constant debate.
We are kids,
we shouldn't be at war.
Scared stiff
while bombs soar.
The screams,
the tears.
Waiting for a letter
to calm our fears.
This is patriotic?
Watching people die!
I'll tell you something,
it's all a lie.
So those people,
who died for "peace",
on the battlefield
they did decease.
Fighting another war
made them die in vain.
As more blood
is left to stain.
Put away the guns,
make us go blind.
If we can't see,
no difference will we find
We will realize
how great it is to be unique.
And our future
is no longer so bleak.
