Wait for the time I will be shown
To everyone around
So afraid I am to open up
I never speak a sound
Forget what I have said to you
It matters no more than I
No wonder no one comes to me
My soul is very shy

I wonder when you will speak up
And make me show the truth
For, I myself am tired of hiding
You haven't got a clue
I mustn't give you much info
I've got to keep some too
I haven't much
But when I do
I'm a dove without a coo

With much info
I say it all
Not healthy for me to do
I wish I was not
What I am now
I've bitten off more than I can chew
I'm sorry for all I didn't say
I'm sorry for what I did
You're welcome for what I could have said
And the fact that I kept it in my head

Can you wait to love me
Can you wait until it's true
You may be just a dream
But to me, you are you
I know that you are here with me
My friend, you make me blue
Can just wait to love me nicely
Until I can love me too
