The next thing I remember, was being pushed into a ship of some sort. All I could remember from earlier was that scream Cade and I had heard from outside the house. When my vision became clear again, I blinked several times and looked around. My head was pounding, and I immediately slammed my back down against the cot I was laying on. I heard footsteps against the metal floor, and Cade's face came into view. I instantly smiled, but his face didn't light up like usual. He explained everything to me, that earthlings had now discovered my disappearance, and that my parents DID see the ship take me away. Earthlings finally went searching.

"How could this all be happening so fast? I thought you said that Earthlings didn't have the technology to go to different galaxies." I exclaimed.

"We're not sure of it either, and we don't know how they knew what planet/galaxy to look in. They must have tracked the way we flew out." He answered softly. "You need rest, please sleep. You hit your head when we took off, so you must sleep." The next thing I knew, I was passed out again. A few hours later, I woke up with Cade sleeping soundly on the floor next to me. We had landed it seemed, and then I saw Cade's mothers face. She gave me a look that could have killed me, and then woke Cade up. She spoke to him in what sounded like some extraterrestrial dialect, and he got up off the floor. His face reflected sadness; I couldn't help but get up and hug him. He held me close, them looked down at my face.

"We're on the run. My mother is very upset and my father is a wreck. This is so hard for us all, but I don't want to give you up, now that I feel a strong connection to you." I sighed, and he pushed a loose hair out of my face. He grabbed my hand and tugged me toward the windshield of the ship. We looked out beyond the land, and saw plants everywhere. I gasped in amazement and asked, "Where are we now?" He looked at me with a grin.

"We're in the rain forest region of Lostra. No one can track here for some reason. No one ever knew why. We're just going to have to live off of this land until we can find a better place to go. It shouldn't be too bad, since my parents already packed for an emergency like this." We stepped out of the ship, and I walked out to a small pond. I looked into it, and saw some weird shaped fish scurrying around in the water. I've never seen anything like them before. They were bright yellow, with what seemed to be sky blue thunderbolts on the sides. They were fairly large, about the size of my hand. Then suddenly, a larger fish, maybe the length of my arm came and snapped up one of the yellow fishes. I gasped, because the large fish took up lots of the pond. I figured the pond must be deeper than it looks, since I didn't see that fish before. Cade ran over and tugged me away, and as soon as he did that larger fish jumped up, and snapped its jaws.

"You saved me from that thing . . ." I whispered in amazement and shock.

"Yeah!" He yelled, "That's a Haspi. It'll tear your face clean off! You can't just wander around, there are tons of dangerous creatures in this rain forest; you will die very easily if you stray away." I gulped in fear, and took Cade's hand as we walked back toward the ship. His parents were unloading lumber and tools for creating a new shelter. All of the sudden, I felt myself black out. I couldn't hear or see anything. All I felt was my body hit the ground. I heard a screeching inside my head, and pounding inside my chest. I felt like I was going to explode. What was going on?
