Pebbles dancing across
The vast oceans
Hopping from sea to sea
As if their lives are simple
Down on the sea floor
And the waves twist and turn,
In sudden motion
Pound against the sand and
Ripple across
On their journey
Heading on
Their separate ways
And one by one,
The waves crash
And pebbles bounce
And tides pull,
Growing stronger
Minute by minute
Racing hearts
Join together,
All at once,
Preparing for the dances
Of the ocean
