As you may or may not know, the South Reef is being destroyed. There are many things we can do as a Whyville community to help save the reef from vanishing!
First, click on the headline talking about the reef being destroyed or click on therReef in the drop down menu. At the bottom of the page there will be a place to click on Save the Reef! Once you get to the page it will give you four different choices.
1. You can make a management plan for how to save the reef. It basically is a very small questionnaire about how you would help save the reef! It really only takes about 2 minutes to do.
2. You can make or wear Save the Reef face parts! And you do not have to have a FFV to make a part for the cause. There are about 150 different face parts people have already made! Most are really cheap so you don't need to have a whole lot of clams to buy a save the reef part!
3. You can donate clams to help make the Reef Management Plans a reality, which would be wonderful! There are over 200 people that have already donated to help make the management plans a reality. Let's keep the clams coming! Even just donating 1 clam helps.
4. And last you can write an article for the Whyville Times to raise the awareness of the crisis that is happening in our Whyville community right now!
