At last, you chose to love me
That day the sun shined bright
But then a flash of lightening
Brought you back to real life
I thought nothing of my pain
And ignored your unfaithful lies
Some while later I understood
All your laughs and smiles
It wasn't me that fancied you
Instead, it was my heart
I know some things you kept from me
And well, where do I start?

Cupid put us here together
He thought we'd fall in love
Well, Cupid, as he calls himself
Was jealous of my luck
Many times I'd envy him
He owns such a wonderful power
But love is not as wonderful
As it can be sour

Cupid lied and wanted fun
So he shot his arrow around
And Cupid, as he calls himself
Did it without making sound
Funny it seems when thinking of such
But the results stay rather muted
I'd like to say out loud, though
You can be so stupid, Cupid
