There has been a lot of attention regarding "The Hunger Games" series. I'm here with an update of the cast for "The Hunger Games" movie, which is going to be released in theaters March 23, 2012.
Katniss Everdeen is being played by Jennifer Lawrence.
At first I wasn't sure about Jennifer as Katniss, but then I saw some pictures random people edited to make her look like Katniss; now I'm confident in her. Plus, Suzanne Collins, the author of "The Hunger Games" series, seems to like her.
Katniss is said to have long, straight black hair that she likes to wear in a braid, olive skin, and grey eyes.

Peeta Mellark is being played by Josh Hutcherson.
I'm happy with this choice. I've always admired Josh Hutcherson (at one point I even had a little crush on him), and I think with some blonde hair dye and blue contacts he can pull off Peeta.
Peeta is said to have wavy blonde hair that falls across his forehead in waves, blue eyes, and a stocky build.

Gale Hawthorne is being played by Liam Hemsworth.
When I first saw they picked Liam as Gale, I thought, 'Oh no.' I still think that. He doesn't seem anything like Gale to me. I don't think he's that great an actor, either (sorry, it's just my opinion). I guess we'll just have to see how he does in the movie.
Gale is said to have black hair, olive skin, and grey eyes. He looks so much like Katniss that in "Catching Fire" and "Mockingjay", people believed they were cousins.

I didn't have enough room to do all the official cast members, so I will finish it next week.
Although I'm not happy with all the cast members (cough, Liam, cough), I'm just going to try to be excited for the movie, not the cast; I encourage you to do the same.
