As I clutch you tightly over my heart
My life so similar to everything you've been through
You were so ready to explore
When you'd been fresh, clean, and new.

I remember watching them try to sew you up multiple times
The "warm to the touch" feeling you left with me
When I needed someone to count on
You were the key.

Now just a mess of thread and yarn
Once was a magnificent, treasured piece of work
Now you're just a filthy, worn-out toy
Your button-smile just barely a smirk.

Ragdoll, ragdoll,
That's all you are now.
You're not useful to me anymore,
Never really special anyhow.

Oh wonderful little creation,
Where are you now?
