Hey guys, FeyWander here. I just wanted to talk about this kinda cool, kinda weird thing that happened the other day.

I was hanging out at the Playground with my new friend and there wasn't much going on or anything. Other people talking, some people begging for clams, some others flirting, whatever. There was this one couple in the corner who were calling each other things like hunny, and sweetie and I, well, got a little grossed out. (I'm only 12, gimme a break!)

I started telling my friend this when we both noticed something. Don't they both look like guys? So my friend goes over and asks one of them, "Are you gay?"

And you know what? He didn't insult her, he didn't act offended... he just said, "Yes."

Well, we were both quite taken aback. But I thought to myself, this is one of life's little lessons. Here is a guy who is totally unafraid to say that, yah, he's gay. He knows it, he doesn't fear it, he's proud of it. I think if everyone could be more like that and accept others for what they are as well, we could have a much better, safer world. If everyone could just say, "yah, I'm Jewish", or "yah, I'm a Goth" or "yah, I'm Black" and so on. Think how cool that would be.

That is one of the things that I love about Whyville, is that it's kind of like a mini world. This may sound corny, but I really think it's good practice for when you're out there in the real world. So this is just a message to everyone:

Be yourself and be it proud!!!

Thanks for your time,
FeyWander
