Episode Two: Jumble Act Clue, Part One

Whyville Storyteller

The answer to last episode's riddle was: money, or money related. Now here comes Episode 2!

Well, it was as usual, a regular day in the waiting room. People were doing the regular waiting room stuff like chatting amongst themselves and such. Even though Dr. Simmons was untimely banned by the bouncer, he waited patiently at the coffee table in hopes that there would be a different bouncer today. Eva Turniper was proudly waving about a new hairstyle while Jonas Meras ate a few (bags of) chips.

The Doctor recently took up playing board games to pass the time. He looked up from setting a "Clue" board and hissed around, "Let's start a game shall we?"

"Yess, but board games are so ick!" Miss Turniper hated board games, as her late husband always played them. He ticked and ticked at checkers and sloshed at dice and such. Nobody knew who killed him, and she didn't seem too upset, but that's besides the point.

Well, after a while a game began, and Eva was getting very upset. She slowly stood and said, "If you want a challenge, then we will play this game for real. Choose a weapon if you dare, and a card. We'll begin soon enough."

Being the people that they were, and having nothing else to do, everyone chose their stuff and the game began. Almost at once, Eva Turniper was shot down (all in the game, not loaded, as the Doctor had suggested) by a mystery man and was out of the game. To the left in the dining room, screams were heard -- not screams that are usually associated with a good game, either. At once all the players ran in and found Jonas lying on the floor, his own red, oozing blood around him.

"One of us in this room is the killer, the real one."

Voices loomed around; Jonas was (for real) dead!

"Well, show us the cards! Then we'll know!"

"No, you fool!! The fake killer doesn't have to be the real one!!!"

To be continued!! Muhahaha...

**But why-mail to me who you think the killer should be, where it is done and with what kind of a weapon. These can be classic from the Clue game or from your own imagination. I will incorporate the best set of things into part 2. Also make a list of the 8 people playing the game. You must include Eva Turniper, Jonas Meras and Dr. Simmons. So get writing!!!
