Waking up just to fall asleep again
Right a wrong even though you still will sin
Opening the door you know you soon will close
Picking lovely flowers you'll eventually dispose
Just like life you will start and then you'll end
Not paying attention to the hours you will spend
Frivolously wasting when your goals you could be chasing
So success you can attend
Dreaming a dream you soon will forget
Sucking on sunflower seeds you intend to spit
Taking a rest even though it will cease
Struggling through difficulties hoping blindly they will ease
Just like life you will have night and day
Not paying attention to what your wishes say
You're carelessly ignoring when your heart could be soaring
Through the Milky Way
Grabbing at opportunities that won't take you anywhere
Backtracking even though you've already been there
Letting useless months become wasted years
Never standing out from acquaintances and peers
Just like life you must live in the now
Just go with your instincts and don't you dare ask how
You're sitting and you're lying
Just leap and then you're flying
So at the end you'll take a bow
