What Else Could We Do?

When I read Shalee's article, I saw people speaking out against the war. To each his own, I guess. But I ask you, what else could've been done? Are we supposed to shrug our shoulders and allow the terrorists, not just from Afghanistan, but from all over the world, take us for cowards?

"The American cowards will not fight back," they will think. So, they make this conclusion, and there is widespread violence and death across our country. More and more attacks like 9/11 would've occurred.

I have been taught the same thing all of you have been taught. War is bad. In my own views, it is sometimes necessary to insure that we people in America can continue to live the way that we live now. It is not terrorism. Terrorism is when a person attacks civilians in an unnecessary, cowardly way. Such as the acts on 9/11.

Our men and women, our sisters and brothers, our mothers, our fathers, our neighbors, are NOT terrorists. They are soldiers, fighting for YOUR freedom.
