Christmas is right around the corner! This week, I am going to show you how to make an easy, quick snack perfect for every Christmas party! I am going to demonstrate how to make a well-known, popular snack called "Puppy Chow".

For this recipe, you need the following: 9 cups Chex cereal, 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, wax paper, and 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar. The original recipe calls for vanilla and butter, but I don't use it because it takes longer to make, and it's messier.

First off, you are going to need to take out a big bowl. Pour the 9 cups of Chex cereal into the bowl.

Then you're going to melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together. You can easily do this step in the microwave! WARNING: When removing the bowl from microwave, it's going to be HOT. Use caution! Also, don't microwave it for too long, or you'll burn the chocolate. Keep an eye on the melting process in the microwave.

After removing the melted substance, you will now pour it over the Chex cereal. Using two spoons, toss it so the chocolate evenly distributes across the snack.

After that is done, immediately pour the chocolate covered Chex into a plastic bag that has 1 1/2 cup powered sugar in it, and close it up. Then shake it vigorously so the powdered sugar distributes evenly.

After that procedure is done, spread the mixture evenly and let it cool.

Finally, after it's cooled, you may eat it! ENJOY!

Author's Note: Thank you for reading this article, and I hope you have a fun time making Puppy Chow! I wish everyone a Happy Holidays.
