Looking around Whyville, I see something that bothers me at times . . . proportions I see people's faces squished up lower down the head, with mouths on their necks! Mouths on their necks?! That makes NO sense at all. But, I have to give them credit for creativity, because in real life, you can't do that to yourself, right?
In this picture above, I am comparing a celebrity, Selena Gomez with one of my creations. If you see, Selena Gomez's proportions and my avatar's are completely off. The lines where it labels EYES, should be where the eyes are, and so on.
Now, I wonder what people would look like in the real world, with the squished-faces avatars . . . to get an idea, I played around with Photoshop, and here's what I got:
Hahaha! You see? Selena Gomez looks different with the "Whyville Proportions", doesn't she? Proportions are important, in creating your avatar. Just placing where the body parts are supposed to go, will immediately change the look of your avatar.
