By skin, in no way do I mean the flesh that covers your bones. That would be a tad creepy. Today, the topic will be backgrounds and which ones appear to be the most prevalent on Whyvillians' screens.

Out of the 50 people surveyed, this was the final outcome:

Black Skulls = 3
Blue Flames = 0
Blue Hawaiian = 3
Camo = 1
Classic = 10
Clouds = 5
Dark Blue = 1
Halloween = 0
Holiday = 1
Holiday 2 = 1
Oldbie = 8
Orange Hawaiian = 1
Pink Skulls = 1
Purple = 4
Red Flames = 2
Skateboard = 3
St. Patrick's Day = 3
Thanksgiving = 0
Valentine's Day Red = 0
Valentine's Day Silver = 2
Raven-Symone Glam = 1

Out of the above selections, it appears that Classic and Oldbie were the most popular.

Some guesses as to why Classic was chosen more might be because people are so used to seeing this one when they first register, they're hesitant to change, or they might just not care enough about backgrounds to change theirs.

Assumptions as to why Oldbie came in second are older members are so used to it and it reminds them of Whyville back in the day. Or, as doodelle stated, "Because it's not distracting."

A pretty blatant observation from the survey shows that one out of the 50 citizens surveyed, had a pearl skin. Which makes it seems as though people would rather keep pearls for other items.

Before taking the survey, I kind of predicted that there would be more Classic skins than any of the other categories, so I wasn't all too surprised myself. What I did find interesting were the few people with Christmas/St. Patrick's Day skins. You know who you are.

Author's Note: These results would most likely change a lot during seasons like Christmas, Thanksgiving, St. Patrick's Day and etc. as people decide to get festive with skins.
