as the finale bell makes the move
dresses floating and flawless

bell rings

The blue dress starts to fade
laughter turns to tears
prince tries to grab
but can not reach
only to find
that once lost shoe
searching and searching
to find that girl
lock in the bathroom
longing for the key . . .
doesn't fit one
doesn't fit two
about to leave
from a shout above
a tear of blue
the shoe is broken
shattered on the floor
the prince is mad
the mom is happy
