Tape: Is It Really Worth It?

What's up!? This is whygal00, reporting on the latest news: is tape good?

Yes it is! All of you people out there who swear too much on the computer... well, to admit the truth, I'm one of those people too.

I swore this week and last week. So I deserve to be punished last week two days and this week three days. People who have dirty mouths deserve not to chat for day(s) at a time. Those people who swear just wanna be cool on the net or do it just for fun, and that's not a good plan. Every time you swear you get at least one day of duct tape on your mouth. Sometimes you get fined, but I think muting is better.

I feel like I can't help swearing. Ever since Sunday I swore because I was mad. If you're one of these people who have a hard time controlling your swearing, I think you should just put ***** (stars) on the thought. That's if they allow you. If not, say something like cat or a thing instead of that dirty curse.

But I have a idea for Whyville to do. Did you ever want to throw projectiles or dance only you were duct taped and you couldn't? Maybe Whyville could let you do that, but leave the chatting out.

That's what I wish the tape was like.

But there are people in this world who hate curse's and wish those people would get their mouth's washed with soap. There are kids online and everyone has to remember that. Most parents won't let their kids online if it's not swear-free chat!

So, all you swearing people, beware! You might get caught and this time it might be worse.

For now my lips are sealed.
CUL8ER.

Note from City Hall: We'd really rather that folks didn't bother swearing at all, even with asterisks. There are all sorts of reasons for this, from kids here who are extremely young to the simple fact that cursing is an extremely limited way of communicating.

One of the great things about the internet is that you can take the time between thinking and typing to decide, is this really something worth saying?

Me, if something's got me angry enough to even think of cursing, I know it's time to change the subject or avoid the person. Vaporizing is an excellent way of doing that! (That and mudballs... ;-)
