PANDEMIC

A simple six letter word that brings so much joy. The most remarkable event for me, being the sound of the last bell merging with that of gleeful screams. The sought after path leading home marked with a years' worth of work scattered amongst the floor.

With the quick burst of bliss however, trails along the depressing idea of how this freedom is short-lived. With it's imminent ending comes the tedious school days once more.

While others will be traveling around and enjoying the fleeting time given, I will be trapped in a dungeon (my unorganized bedroom) sealed with my boredom as well as a teetering pile of summer packets. Oh joy!

Once the demonic pile is done with, the rest of the break will be spent in glorious relaxation time in order to prepare for a much laborious school year ahead. The highlight of my summer will without a doubt be when I lurk out of my dungeon for three days with my medical class. The main events being visiting a play, hunting through a local art museum, as well as trudging through a much dreaded ropes course (more details to come).

I wish you all the best with this short-lived break, and I'd love to hear about your adventures/future plans. Now I'm off to procrastinate some more on my packets.
