Every time you lie to me
Something happens I cannot see
It's a stabbing feeling in my heart
It rips my arteries apart
I become a tattered, helpless mess
With bloody bleeding from my chest
As an invisible stake plunges in
Shattering the love within
It echoes through my hollow bones
As my shaking heart atones
For every day it gave you joy
And every time it was your toy
And every second in you it trusted
And every minute it yearned and lusted
For the person who proved a fake
And only wanted to stab and stake
You've broken me to smithereens
But keep on lying, by all means
It's not like you care anymore
For the woman you claim to adore
And it's not like she cares for you either
Since now she knows you're a deceiver
