Prom Plans

It is official! My homework pile is starting to shrink (and believe me, it has taken long enough!) but it is time for me to take my "coffee break". Yep. And I have decided to come on Whyville and chat for about 5 minutes, which means I'll be on for like an hour, but oh, well. It's all get done in the end.

Anyway... today is the first day of Voting for Prom King and Queen. And that means that the Prom is getting nearer and nearer. But, what if I were to tell you that I had a small concern about the prom? Would you believe me? Or would just think I'm crazy? Well, guess what, you'd better decide which. Why? Let me tell you.

First of all, this is like my 5th coffee break in 5 hours, and in and out of the Sportplatz people have been voting. Some of the talks have been pretty interesting, I mean, you can only vote once for a person, and you can't vote for yourself. I have seen a few arguments happen, and I bet that they will increase as the voting goes on. Is that what the goal to all this is? I hope not.

And what to wear? Well, here are a few hints: you will not be able to get anywhere without seeing the words "Dress" or "prom", which means you will probably want to do some looking around. Have fun, because you don't want to show up wearing the same stuff as everyone else!

Another topic of discussion is who to go with, I mean there are only so many guys in Whyville and I am sure that a lot of them prefer a long term relationship as compared to a one-night stand type of thing. So ladies, your choices are running out, slowly but surely.

And, when I asked around, a lot of people said that they were excited, but they didn't know a lot about what would happen, and nearly half the people didn't even know there was going to be a prom! That must say something about the appreciation level, don't ya think?

Well, I'm sure that a lot of these things will straighten out... well, maybe some of them... but even if they don't, don't worry, the prom is about having fun, not stressing out. Don't freak out on people who don't vote for you! It's not going to matter that much in your lifetime, is it?

Ahh, my break is officially over, now that my mom is asking me a ton of questions about my homework. I had better go finish.
