Do's and Don't's for Prom Wear

Warbeak

Warbeak here. I think it's time to talk about prom fashions because the prom's almost here! If you don't already know, the prom is on Saturday, May 25th.

For this article I interviewed a few people and I found out a lot of their Do's 'n' Don't's for prom wear.

The number one "Do" for ladies is to wear something like an evening gown and have some things for your hair. Gems are also a big "Do"; many people said to wear them. Also, wear nice colors like blue, purple, or even pink.

The big "don't" for gals is to wear your everyday clothes or grubby, gross clothes. Also, don't go overboard on hair things or other stuff. Don't wear a tanktop, that's a big don't! And don't wear really dark clothes like black or brown. Sure, black looks good with lighter colors, but please, don't wear solid black! And don't wear really frilly stuff.

"Do's" for guys start with wearing a tux and maybe a top hat. Wear nice clothes if you don't have a tux and maybe try to look smart. And please, if you can, get a smiling mouth -- I sure know gurlz don't like guyz that frown!

"Don't's" for guys end with wearing a sweater (this also goes for girls!) or a crummy outfit. Don't wear your gothic stuff. Don't wear a baseball cap with a tux. And DON'T EVER wear a blue or purple tux! Try to get a black or white one, but NOT blue or purple! And try to not wear tuxes with the frilly stuff, that's just bad!

Now, you don't have to go with my advice, but I got these opinions from people in Whyville. I'm saying good bye to you now and hope to see you at the prom in nice outfits... bye!
