This is coming from someone who was diagnosed with clinical depression, who has dealt with it for years. It's tiring, but please believe me, when you feel like you're alone, and you feel like you're almost pushed over the edge, drowning in sadness and fear, I'm here. I'm always here, even for people who aren't there for me. I need you to know that no one, and I mean no one, should go through it alone. I've been through a lot, more than I could ever explain. I need you to read this, it's so important. Thank you.

You have no idea how important you are. Yes, you. I love you. You're so brave, so strong. You keep pushing through all the bull crap and hardships that you go through everyday, and you don't stop, because life doesn't stop for anyone no matter how much you beg God to take away your pain.

I know how it feels to stay up all night, your mind not letting you sleep because it keeps reminding you of all your screw ups, how you're a mess up. It keeps replaying every time you hurt the people you care about, and it never stops. Even throughout the day. You cry in the shower, so that no one can hear you. You feel like you're losing everyone, and you don't know what to do, and it scares you out of your mind. You don't know what to say to people anymore, and you feel all hope is lost. You feel like you're drowning in this depression. You don't talk to anyone anymore, because you don't want to get hurt again like those people hurt you. You don't want to trust someone, and get destroyed.

They destroyed your self esteem, and every time you look in the mirror you are reminded that you are a monster. Something disgusting, your mind points out every imperfection. You don't know how you can keep living as a victim of your own mind. But you still keep fighting, trying to swim back to the surface. You don't let pain win. Every time the world pushes you down, you get back up. And you keep going on, you keep pushing through.

And that, my dear friend, is why I love you. Even if you don't love yourself.
