I have fallen into a bottomless pit.
There is no way to escape.
I am wishing I could just find the end of it.
How long is this going to take?

I want things to be how they use to be.
There were no expectations or regrets.
When it was the world against you and me.
Can we go back, or did you forget?

There is nothing like your smile.
It shines just like the stars we use to gaze at.
Watching the galaxy as it went on for miles.
The things I would do to have all of that back.

But here, I am still falling and all I can think
of is the memories we made. All the time that we shared.
Leaning on one another when we were on the brink.
I know that I'm not the only one who cared.

That's the thing about pitfalls. They never seem to end.
When you are falling and falling, you have a lot of time reminisce.

So, I love you and I miss you.
I know that much is true.
You are my forever and always.
I promise to never forget you.
