A Whole New Home

When I first heard about Whyville from my friends at school I was like, what the heck? But I decided to check it out the following evening. I signed up as tropic67 and I was hooked! Every night I would race down to my computer, hoping that my brother wasn't using it. Every night I would explore a new part of Whyville and try out different things. After my first 5 days were up, I wandered into the chat rooms. When I first arrived in Whyville Square, I met some really nice and kind people, and that is why I kept coming back.

A few days ago, I finally made it to 1000 clams! Now, there were many choices on how to spend my earnings, but when I checked out Club Why, I knew it was for me. I journeyed into the chat room and I was thrilled to find a beaded curtain, blow up chairs and a roomy plant. I immediately booked a party at the Underground Disco.

When I left Club Why that day, I went to the first place I'd ever visited, City Hall. I stood outside, thinking about how many different opportunities this place had given me. New friends, new words, a whole new way to interact, and of course a place where I could come and "chill" and be with people like myself. So I say thank you, Whyville, you're a whole new home for me.
